To the home of Kairos Outside Prison Ministry serving New York City and surrounding areas.
What is Kairos Prison Ministry? Kairos Prison Ministry seeks to bring Christ's love and forgiveness to all incarcerated individuals, their families, and those who work with them and assist in the transition to become a productive citizen and family member. Kairos, meaning "God's Special Time", is an international organization that currently operates in over 300 state and federal correctional facilities, county jails and offender programs in the USA and over 200 overseas locations. Kairos conducts three types of ministries: Kairos Inside; Kairos Outside; and Torch.
While Kairos Inside Prison Ministry is an excellent vehicle to provide a religious experience for men and women on the inside prison, Kairos Outside is a weekend retreat designed to bolster the women on the "outside" who are supporting their loved ones who are incarcerated.
Our New York City Mission Our mission is to demonstrate God's grace and love through Christian support for women, residing in New York City and surrounding areas, whose lives have been affected by the incarceration of relatives and/or friends. As part of Kairos Prison Ministry, we seek to invite the women on the "outside" to be our guests on a Weekend Retreat, free of cost, where we:
